Here at Samudra, we rely on natural ways to heal the mind and body. We make use of the natural environment for our treatments. One such activity that helps with focus and fitness is surfing.
Surfing is an age-old activity that finds its origins in Hawaii. It was a way that people connected with nature. A surfboard, a decent wave, and will to have fun is all you need to spend a great morning in the water.
Surfing helps one focus and be present in the moment. Just like meditation/yoga, it helps one to connect the mind and body and work in perfect rhythm. Spending the morning in the ocean exerting your self physically will ensure a restful and more fulfilling day ahead with our wellness treatments.
Here at Samudra, we offer surf lessons in collaboration with the Mantra Surf Club (The pioneers of Surfing in India). We follow International Surfing standards in both teaching and safety measures. All the instructors are certified in both instructions and rescue.
Please do note that Our instructors are ISA (International Surfing Association) certified and have been instructing for over a decade. Whether you are an experienced swimmer or this is your first time in the ocean, our instructors will make sure that you have a great time in the water.
